Mary Catherine Mase, age 60, of Fremont, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at the Community Health Center of Branch County, Coldwater, Michigan.

Mary was born on January 19, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Richard and Burnetta (Wem) Hoffman, they preceded her in death.

She graduated from Whitmer High School in 1975, and later graduated from Tri-State University.

She married David Mase on September 1, 2000 in Las Vegas, and they formerly lived in Bronson, Michigan, and at Golden Lake in Steuben County, Indiana.

Mary was born on January 19, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Richard and Burnetta (Wem) Hoffman, they preceded her in death.

She graduated from Whitmer High School in 1975, and later graduated from Tri-State University.

She married David Mase on September 1, 2000 in Las Vegas, and they formerly lived in Bronson, Michigan, and at Golden Lake in Steuben County, Indiana.

Mary was a former truck driver, and later was the co-owner of the Co-Op Express and Mary's Go Around, and retired in 2010. She was a member of the Zion Missionary Church in Fremont, Indiana. Her hobbies included doing crochet, caring for her cat, "Bratley", and she liked to go shopping.

Survivors include her husband, David Mase of Fremont, Indiana, a step-daughter, Patricia Mase of Fremont, Indiana, a step-son, Tommee Mase of Sturgis, Michigan, three step-grandchildren, Samantha Conrad, Bryanna Mitchell, Marissa Mase, a step-great-grandchild, Luke David Conrad, a half-sister, Marty (Ray) Hosley of Martin, Ohio, and many cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017, from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm, at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

Funeral Service will take place at 11 am Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Beams Funeral Home, with Rev. Jon Bruney officiating.

Mrs. Mase will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland, Indiana.

Memorials are requested to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the Zion Missionary Church.
